Wingless fruit flies are ideal for feeding fish, lizards, spiders, scorpions, frogs and more. They are bred to be absent of wings, making them a fun and easy target for your pets to feed on.

Fruit flies are about 1/16th of an inch long and live for roughly 30 days. During that time, female flies lay eggs which hatch after about 12 hours. The newly hatched larvae crawl around in the medium molting twice. After the last molt, the larvae will attach themselves to the sides of the container and remain there for about 4 days. It is then that the adult flies emerge and start the process all over again.

Buyer will receive 1 working culture in a 32 oz deli cup. Each cup will contain 30+ adult flies.
