White Worms, (Enchytraeus Albidus), are a type of non-parasitic worm that is closely related to the red worm and the grindal worm. They are larger than grindal worms, usually reaching a length of 1-1.5 inches long. This size makes them an ideal food for larger juvenile fry and medium size adult fish. Although white worms like cooler temperatures, and reproduce best at around 50 – 68 degrees F, this particular strand of white worm has been kept and bred in room temperature conditions (72-78F). If a cool temperature strand is desired, this strand may be SLOWLY acclimated to cooler temperatures.
