White Worms, (Enchytraeus Albidus), are a type of non-parasitic worm that is closely related to the red worm and the grindal worm. They are larger than grindal worms, usually reaching a length of 1-1.5 inches long. This size makes them an ideal food for larger juvenile fry and medium size adult fish. White worms like cooler temperatures, and reproduce best at around 50 – 68 degrees F with preferably nothing over 70 degrees F. However, this particular strand of white worm has been kept and bred at room temperature (72-75 F). Because this culture is soil-less, I do NOT reccommend trying to acclimate this culture to cooler temperatures. If you would like a cool temp strand of white worms, please purchase white worms that are in a soil base bedding.

Buyer will receive a 8 oz deli cup with 1 (3"x4") scouring pad that contains adult worms, juvenile worms, and eggs. Pad may be cut into 4 equal pieces for ease of packing and shipping.
